The Arts and Crafts workshops are wide and varied, subjects include drawing, painting, paper mache, pyrography, needlecraft, knitting as well as a limited range of woodwork.
The Cookery workshop is aimed at building self confidence within a kitchen environment, to learn how to use kitchen utensils and equipment. To be taught food hygiene and how to plan and cook balanced and nutritious meals.
The Music and Movement workshop uses elements of rhythm and dance, mime and exercise together with musical instruments and therapeutic equipment all designed to encourage communication and development.
The Computer workshop is available for any service user wishing to improve their IT skills on a one to one basis with their instructor.
Our aim is to improve choices for people with disabilities and therefore enhance their lifestyle and encourage them into sheltered work placements.
Creative Workshop is a day service provider offering a wide range of activities from Arts, Crafts and Cookery, to Computer activites, sewing and Music sessions. We are able to offer these sessions to adults with learning and physical disabilities and are tailored to meet their own specific needs. We provide a quality service for small groups of people to enable them to attain their maximum potential.
